HAO Course Catalog Management module lets training managers define their own inventory of internal and external courses for their organizations. Courses can be assigned with a status such as "Pre-approved", "Suggested", "Obsoleted", etc. Each course is assigned a set of competencies that it is addressing. The course catalog information is used by HAO Training Needs Analysis Module to generate an individual's training needs.

Without the course catalog information, training needs listed will be shown only in terms of competencies to be addressed.
